Privacy
Privacy.
CardPricer is currently usable without an account. This page explains what we do collect, why, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
- An anonymous session cookie identifying your browser. We use it so your watchlist, alerts, and portfolio can sync across page loads on the same device. The cookie is a random opaque ID — it does not contain your name, email, or location.
- Watchlist, alert, and portfolio entries you create are stored in our database keyed to that anonymous session ID. You can clear them at any time from each respective page.
- Standard request logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) for short-term abuse prevention and debugging. Logs are retained for no more than 30 days.
- Aggregate page analytics via Vercel Web Analytics — cookieless counts of page views and referrers so we know which parts of the site people use. It does not identify you or track you across other sites.
What we don't collect
- We do not require an account, an email address, or any payment information.
- We do not run third-party advertising or behavioral tracking pixels.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone for marketing purposes.
Outbound links to eBay
When you click an outbound link to eBay, you leave our site and become subject to eBay's privacy policy. The link includes our eBay Partner Network ID so eBay can attribute the click to us — see the affiliate disclosure for details.
Hosting and subprocessors
- The application is hosted on Vercel.
- Application data lives in Supabase (managed Postgres).
- Card and listing data is sourced from the eBay Browse and Marketplace APIs and transformed by our scheduled jobs.
Deleting your data
You can clear your watchlist, alerts, and portfolio at any time from those pages (each page has the affordances). To delete the underlying anonymous session row entirely, email hello@cardpricer.app with the relevant session ID (visible in your browser cookies for this domain) and we'll wipe it.
Changes
If we ever start collecting more data than what's described here — for example, if we add real user accounts — we'll update this page and reset the “last updated” date below. Material changes will be flagged in-app.
